Located in Parsac, Ch. Lestage was given by Louis XIII to an officer of his armies as a reward for great deeds at the siege of La Rochelle. Today it covers 18 ha in Montagne-Saint-Emilion. Philippe Raoux (Ch. d'Arsac in Margaux) acquired it in 2000.
Château Lestage is a monovarietal of Merlot and is not inferior to many expensive Pomerol. The combination of location, climate and subsoil creates the ideal conditions for making a fantastic red Bordeaux wine with high-quality Merlot fruit, 'body' and a maturing potential of at least 10 years.
The 12 single bottles (no case) will be shipped to you in a secure, protective packaging to prevent damage.

Wijn is prima. Goed verpakt ook. Bezorgdienst DPD maakt een puinhoop van bezorging, dat ligt niet aan de leveran ciet maar wellicht een andere bexofgdienst kiezen.
