Kiki de Montparnasse became Man Ray’s first lover/muse in Paris and posed for him as early as 1921. It was she who inspired Man Ray to create two of the most famous photographs of the 20th century, firmly anchored in our collective memory: "Noire et Blanche" and "Le Violon d’Ingres".
Kiki also posed for Man Ray in the other two photos offered in this set.
