Super-Takumar 55mm f/2 is a vintage gem from Asahi Optical Co., known for its timeless quality and affordability. This prime lens, designed for 35mm SLR cameras with the M42 screw mount, is perfect for photographers seeking sharpness, beautiful bokeh and retro aesthetics. Lens is in great conditions, no scrapes, no fungus, nor dust and humidity. Rings are smooth and aperture ring stays on selected value.
I have included an origianal Skylight filter, in mint conditions, plus bottom and lens cap.

Production Years 1965 to 1972. Made in Japan.

This model has an exceptional yellowish tint due to the lense proprieties which has matured over time. This tint can be easily be removed by UV or full sunlight treatment. I used this lens on my Fuji camera with an adaptor ring (M42-FX) for great portraits and I kept the above-mentioned tint since gave warmer tones.
