A set of 15 pottery heads, each originating from a larger figure. Five of the heads are of Veracruz origin, 4 of Huastec origin, 1 of Huari origin, and 5 of Maya origin. Size of largest: 1.15" L x 3.17" W x 2.65" H (2.9 cm x 8.1 cm x 6.7 cm)
Provenance: private Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA collection; ex-private Fayetteville, Arkansas estate, USA, acquired 1960 to 2024
Each head is a fragment of a larger figure as shown. Small losses to some peripheral elements, with softening to finer details, and light earthen deposits, otherwise in nice condition. Great collection of forms!
