Scultura di bellezza birmana - 124 cm - Myanmar (Senza Prezzo di Riserva)

Many decades ago I was hunting for crude oil in Burma, now called Myanmar.

Whilst taking a long trip out of the city of Rangoon, now called Yangon i came across a little village in which, apart from a small food stall, had a small shed with wood carvings stored in it.

After a little while my driver found the old man running it. He saw my profound interest in the carvings and let me to his workshop where he was carving a statue out of a chunk of tree.

He said that he will turn that tree in a beautiful woman if I would come back after 2 - 3 months.

I came back and see the attached photographs. She has been in our family for more than 30 years.

We are downsizing now and need to find her a good home. She will bring health and luck to your family!
