Perfect condition Czech Biedermeier überfang glass cup - glass goblet from middle of the 19th century. It is blown and hand-shaped, multi-layered, thick-walled glass. It is made of colorless glass and pink overlay decorated with circle - oval and ogiv shaped patterns. A typical work showing the favorite elements of the Biedermeier style: "überfang" facets and the use of multi-layered glass. During the Biedermeier era (1820-1880) engraved, richly worked thick-walled cut crystal glasses - sometimes decorated with painting and gilding, - were very popular. Spectacular decorations of the Biedermeier interiors were the colorful and varied commemorative glasses, bottles and spa drinking sets. One micro chip on the rim. Period : 1850.
