This is a Masterpiece made by Herend, extremely rare, Hand painted, the relief border in Altozier, outlined in gilt (gold), with numerous applied roses, 1st class quality.

The origin of the pattern is associated with Count Albert Apponyi, for whom this simplified version of “Fleurs des Indes “ was first prepared in the 1930’s years.

The tureen is in excellent condition, tiny chip on a rose bud, marked with blue Herend shield mark and numbered, NO other chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see pictures as they are part of description.
