These are friction mice from the 1960s Japanese tin toy manufacturer "S2 Saito."
There are two in total.
They work with friction. The mouse without the tail did not work with friction. The other one moves by shaking its head up and down.
It moves like a realistic mouse.

You can tell it's Saito because the grey mouse is stamped with S2.
The brown mouse is only marked "Made in Japan," but it's made the same way, so I think it's S2.
One of the mice is missing a tail, so it doesn't work with friction.
The other mouse works with friction.
