Pine trees symbolize longevity, resilience, and steadfastness, qualities often associated with the enduring spirit of the samurai. The mountains evoke stability and strength, serving as eternal symbols of nature and sacred presence. The flock of birds in flight symbolizes freedom and hope, reflecting the connection between heaven and earth, while the leather flower highlights beauty, renewal, and the transient nature of life. The sides of the stand are adorned with traditional shippo (seven treasures) and diamond-shaped motifs, representing prosperity, harmony, and the interconnectedness of life.
