Pretty NEVERS faience vase, or jug by Jean MONTAGNON. Inspired by antique, Barocco designes.
Signed on the back with the classic green bow for "Nevers" and the inscription Montignon, J.M.
It's decorated by handpainted figures of angels, fish, all on sky-blue background. 2 bas reliefe holders made in the forme of goat heads, holding the fruit baskets. All composition looks fantastic!

Vase made between 1937 and 1978, in 1937, Jean Montagnon succeeded his father as head of the earthenware factory which he ran for forty-one years.

Condition is very good: some small shabies, as signes of use and age.

Thank you for feedback. Item was returned to me, because the buyer didn't accept it. Whild returning it was damaged. MONEY WERE REFUNDED TO BUYER!!!!!! The buyer is very rude and impolite in letters! Hope never see again on my auctions!

Despite refunding the shipping of the item, the product was packed poorly and the shade was ruined beyond repair and cannot be replaced with something similar.

I think that it could be replaised by smth else. Shade is not unique. Questio: What's the reason to refund, if at the end you receive a negative feedback? I refund and you said that "it's honest". And now I have this... I'M REFUNDING IF SMTH HAPPENS DURING SHIPPING AND IT'S PROOVED!

The painting is as described and it arrived well packed and really really fast. I am super happy with it,Thank you!
