A selection of five cast bronze arrowheads, slightly varying in shape and size, but all featuring a deltoid blade with a central raised mid-rib, barbs, and narrow tang. The pieces are covered in a beautiful patina and some earthly encrustations. There is some damage to the edges of the blades and the barbs of two arrowheads. Excavated items often included weapons, tools, and finials, as well as small amulets and fittings. Everyday objects are also found including pins and bracelets. Archaeological evidence suggests that the bronze objects often serve ceremonial functions given their funerary contexts. Measurements: Circa L 3.9-5.6 cm x W 1.2-2.2 cm Provenance: Ex. London Collection, formed between 1990 - present.
