Zenji Sadamatsu is a distinguished artist with a celebrated career in ceramic art.

In 2001, he achieved his first recognition at the 32nd Nitten Exhibition.
By 2016, he had been selected 14 times for the prestigious Nitten Exhibition, including the restructured 2nd Nitten.
In 2011, he was honored as a Friend of Nitten.
He has received numerous awards, including the Nihon Kogei Kai President Award at the Chishinkai Exhibition in 2009, and the Mayor of Karatsu Award at the Asia Craft Exhibition.
His accolades also include the Governor of Oita Award and the Chishinkai Award at the Chishinkai Exhibition, and multiple awards at the Kyushu Yamaguchi Ceramic Exhibition, including the Saga Ceramic Association Award and the Saga Newspaper Award.
