Modern danish vintage pendant with the classic multi shade system.
The lamp is designed by the danish lightning company Lyskær in the 1960s.
Lyskær is a part of the Danish modern design tradition which includes name like Jo Hammerborg (Fog og Mørup), Bent Karlby (Lyfa), Svend Middelboe (Nordisk Solar) and many more who all work with the multi shade system. A system first developed by the famous architect Poul Henningsen (Louis Poulsen) in the beginning of the 20th century.
The multi shade system spreads the light perfectly in the room without the lightbulb is visible. The system is still used by designers all over the world.
Signs of use. Damages in the paint. Small rust spots. Please see pictures.
It uses a “normal” e27 light bulb and is ready for use.
