9 cucchiai di legno - Isola di Sumba - Indonesia (Senza Prezzo di Riserva)
9 wooden "Marapu" spoons from Sumba, Indonesia. Although initially suspected as being tourist souvenirs, these are all all very smooth and have a nice patina. Two show ample signs of wear from touch and use. This can indicate the use in traditional households before being sold
There are some small scratches and a bit of damage to 2 spoons. See pictures for details.
In Sumba, ancestors or "Marapu" occupy a central role in traditional life.
