Royal Derby's current old Imari pattern 6x salad plates are 1.477,14 Euro combined. This pattern here is the traditional Imari pattern which is no longer being produced & very rare! Vintage from the 1950-60s in absolutely perfect, beautiful & almost unused condition.
This lot consists of: 6x plates D21.7cm
Royal Crown Derby, England's oldest and finest luxury Bone China. Established in 1750 by remarkable artist Andrew Planche in Derby, the heart of England, this incredible porcelain factory is known as one of the highest quality porcelain factories to ever exist. In 1761, Royal Crown Derby’s remarkable royal connection began with the creation of the commemorative piece celebrating the coronation of King George III in September 1761. Since this momentous occasion, Royal Crown Derby has developed a unique relationship with the British royal family, supplying every British monarch since King George III. They established the reputation of luxury that Royal Crown Derby has today, supplying some of the wealthiest and most influential people across the world.
On January 31, 1911, Royal Crown Derby was commissioned to supply the first-class dining suite of the RMS Titanic. A timeless proof of the quality of Derby porcelain. A picture of the pieces manufactured for the RMS Titanic has been added to this lot, if you are interested.
