Wine bought to a retired wine distributor in 2019 in Haro, La Rioja.
Stored in private cellar up to today. Bottle in very goo condition: filling level, cork, color, capsule, label, no leakage.
Very rare wine marketed in a laning bottle from the 19th century. There is no much information about this wine. The outbreak of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) and the post-war situation stopped the bottling. The wine was not bottled, due to the serious financial difficulties experienced at the time by the winery in the postwar period. The whole vintage remained in an old wooden vat for 10 more years. Racked and bottled in the late 40's (1948-1950) directly from the vat. Not filtered.
Vintage 1934 has been unanimously considered as one of the best years in the first half of the 20th century in Rioja, and it was the very first time that a vintage was classified "Excellent" by the Regulatory Council of Rioja. This is the highest rating possible and it was only awarded two times from 1900 to 1950: in 1934 and 1948.

Packed in a special wine box officially certified by UPS / DHL. Bottles are packed individually, one by one, and wrapped in 3 layers of bubble wrap.
