Set of two vintage MCM Candleholders. This designers objects are made by Roberto Niederer in Glasi Hergiswil - a glass factory in Switzerland.

The Glasi Hergiswil is a Swiss glassworks, located in the canton of Nidwalden. The factory was founded by the Siegwart brothers in 1817.
Due to the age of the machines and technology the abolishment of the Glasi seemed inevitable. However, through the efforts of the municipality and the artist Roberto Niederer the factory was saved. Nowadays, the Glasi is an artistic studio and tourist attraction.
From clear crystal glass, pressed and moulded in traditional hand made way. Very decorative, with solid presence in the room space. Stunning optical effects in different light sources. Perfect and emblematic example of Mid-century modern European glass design.
Items are in excellent vintage condition, no chips and cracks, no repairs. Some small imperfections inside of the glass as result of hand made way of production.
Approximate dimensions: Height: 14.8 cm. Width: 6 cm. Depth: 6 cm. Weight: 1.060 kg. each
