Here the Last Supper is in a fine art medium that most early masters never attempted: hand painted porcelain sculpture… and it is ALIVE with rich detail.
The 13 distinctive full figure portraits capture the appearance, the emotions and even the spiritual essence of Christ and each of his apostles. Some sit, some stand, yet they all interact dramatically.
The standing figures are about 13cm tall, and the sitting figures are about 10cm tall. The hand painted cold cast porcelain table adorned with bowls, bread and wine pitcher is about 55cm long. Weight is about 5kg.
This is a 1989 Limited Edition collection and has become scarce. A statement piece.
It is in excellent condition with very minimal signs of use. There are over 50 photos please take a good look at them as they are part of the description.
