AKIRA TORIYAMA - "BIRD LAND PRESS" Nº 15 / The origin of "DRAGON BALL" (Japan Manga) - 1 Comic - Prima edizione - 1984

BIRD LAND PRESS Nº15 Dragon Ball - Memorabilia Collector Magazine (Akira Toriyama Preservation Society/Shueisha/Bird Studio, 1984). If you're a true fan of Akira Toriyama and his Dragon Ball universe, this BIRD LAND PRESS Nº15 fan magazine is known as the rarest in the collection and the most sought after by fans and collectors. Very difficult to find. Only for true collectors. In this volume Nº15 it is the first time that a drawing of the protagonist Son Goku appears. Also, Akira Toriyama explains the chronological origin of Dragon Ball and shows sketches and other oddities. That is why it is the most sought after volume. A historical piece of the Dragon Ball Universe and its creator Akira Toriyama. This volume Nº15 came out in November 1984, at the same time as the first official release of the great Dragon Ball adventure. Light handling. Unique, rare, historic. Only 25 volumes were published from July 1982 to September 1987. Published only in Japan, and in very limited numbers, these magazines are a veritable treasure trove of information on the creation of the series, the life of Akira Toriyama, and a rich series of anecdotes linked to the series. Additionally Akira Toriyama answered all the fans' questions. This information, images of first concepts, first designs, but also first short stories pre-dating the Dragon Ball series, mostly unknown to the public, have never been published again. Its original price was 1700 yen per volume, but for due to increasingly tiring work and personal reasons Akira Toriyama decides to end the magazine and at the same time he stopped answering the question in the magazine "Weekly Shōnen Jump ". This is to say that they are very very rare, even almost impossible to find, therefore very expensive around ¥300,000 ≈ €1.800 per volume. Measures: 4.5" x 7" (17,6 x 12,5 cm) In good/acceptable general conditions. Complete. It has no torn or loose pages. It has visible traces of moisture on the cover and some interior pages that don't affect the reading of the manga. The staples are rusty due to the passage of time, since this manga is... 40 years old!!! Please look at the photographs and judge for yourself.
