Mid Century, Art Deco Buffet - Cabinet by Jindrich Halabala 1940s, Up Závody This mid-century display case called “Television” was designed by world-renowned Czechoslovak architect Jindřich Halabala in 1947 and it was manufactured in UP závody Brno in a limited edition for only two years since 1946. This is an extremely successful piece of design. Rounded edges along the sides of the sideboard, tapered – angled legs, chess pattern on walnut veneer. Currently, this one piece can be found on the world market! It is a very rare type, as the upper part of the basic version boat is smaller and the interior is painted yellow or black. Made for order.
