Ex-Libris Belges et Allemands - Ex libris
Cervantes - El ingenioso hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha - 1736
N. 27148317
It's the Second Part of the Quixote by Cervantes, the 1736 Bonnardel edition, from Lyon. It's an edition copying that of Mommartre, Brussels, 1662 (PALAU), which is almost identical to that of Verdussen, 1672-1673 or 1697. The engravings are copies of those by F. Bouttat, from the editions just mentioned, by Delodati (PALAU).
The front cover and p. 293/294 as well as the engraving in fol. 293 are missing. Some text missing in pages 547 and 548.
The restoration work is of great quality. Bookworm holes have been filled and are almost imperceptible.
