Bang & Olufsen - Beogram 1000 - Lemezjátszó

This example of the iconic Beogram 1000 har been totally renovated.

Due to corrosion on the top plate it has been completely taken apart and the top plate resprayed in metallic grey - see the pictures. All the interior component have been cleaned, repaired where necessary and lubricated. This means that it is brought up very close to the original specifications from the manufacturer. It has got new drive belt, cables (power/signal) and output DIN plug.
The pick-up is an original SP10, which was the finest and most expensive at that time. Despite its age no signs of wear are present. It has precise stereo perspective, fine tonal balance and follows the record tracks at the correct needle pressure.

The lid is without cracks but with signs of normal use. It has been polished, but would appear even nicer with some more polishing.

For shipment the heavy motor assembly will be fastened to prevent from moving in the springs by rough handling. A strong 7 mm double corrugated cardboard box with appropriate stiff expanded polystyrene filling will be used by packing.
