Obverse: Crowned bust of Bahram IV facing right, wearing a domed crown adorned with a crescent and korymbos. Pahlavi legend naming the king.
Reverse: Fire altar with ribbons, flanked by two attendants, each holding a staff. Pahlavi legend RAST ("Just") inscribed on the fire altar. The mint mark AS (Aspahan) appears to the right of the flame.
