Along with “A Certain Place One Day” and “Katsura,” Yasuhiro Ishimoto's book “Chicago, Chicago” is considered a masterpiece in the history of Japanese photography books. In this book, Ishimoto captures buildings, signs, people, streets, children, and beaches in Chicago, where he studied photography at the New Bauhaus. The binding of this book was designed by Yu Kamekura. The binding of this book is by Yusaku Kamekura. The book's binding is by Yusaku Kamekura, who selected the book from several thousand images and narrowed it down to fewer than 200, which were then printed in two-color photographic plates, a difficult and extravagant process.
