湖北省造光緒元寶的價值是難以估量的，其中原因之一是它的鑄造背景處於中國一個特殊的歷史時期，清末的中國為求革新開展了洋務運動，引進了國外先進的鑄幣技術和設備，是中國鑄幣業的一個轉折，後來湖北鑄幣局創辦成功並投入生產，而湖北省銀元局總督張之洞更是成功將銅幣發展至極致，因此湖北省造銅幣在拍賣市場上每每拍出高價。
這2枚光緒元寶版式相同，其中一枚錢幣本身幣胚缺料，是七尾坐龍，而且2們都是滿龍麟的品相，分數高達55分，龍面、龍銀、文字、幣紋等都極為清晰，是一組很難得的優良銅幣，請藏家們切勿錯過。
