A rare " snake skin" archaic glass bead talisman from the ancient Himalayan, Tibetan-Nepalese culture.

Second Millennium AD or older.

In good condition. It has been cleaned , but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand forming, cutting, carving, grinding and boring. The holes are ancient, hand-made, irregular. Traces of use and age on its surface.

Purchased mid 90's in Brussels by Dr. Zelnik on the local market from the Antique Center, previously part of an old Belgian private collection.
