Bowmore Port Cask Matured is a blissful single malt scotch whisky that has been matured for 23 years in Port casks and is non chill filtered, which means that it has not been chilled or filtered and therefore retains its full flavour. Its olfactory sensation begins with a smoky note with a complex background of a warming stew of plums and oranges. On the palate, it takes on more characteristics of peat that slowly develop on the palate. But this Bowmore remains well balanced and does not overwhelm the fruity flavours at all! Its finish is dry and lingering, leaving you with a desire for more. This whisky has an alcohol content of 50.8%.
