Antique Biedermeier stoneware tankard with a handle from the second half of the 19th century. Cylindrical tankard with in relief decoration depicting man and female figures under wine-arbour on the entire surface. Its special feature is the metal rimmed opening lid decorated with enamelled colourful porcelain picture depicting a couple with a boy. The lid is also covered by lettering and initials: "P. K." The upper part is marked by a liquid measure : " S1/2L". Hinged lid with a metal figure head to the hinge. In all its details and elaboration, it shows the signs of manual processing typical of the age. Period : 1870. Dimensions: 784 gramm, 16x12x8,5 cm.
