The Chardonnay grapes come from a steep, shell limestone vineyard near Leibnitz. 62 months of ageing on the lees give this sparkling wine plenty of time to develop. The result is a Blanc de Blancs with an extremely fine mousseux and an intense aroma of yellow-fleshed fruit and brioche. Salty, taut and delicate on the palate, with an intense mineral finish. Sparse and incredibly complex at the same time.
