This is an auction of a very special piece of the history of Apple: an excellent space gray unit of the iPhone 5S, from 2013, still sealed in its genuine and never opened box, apart from graded and encased by a prestigious company of Florida, United States. iPhone 5S: “the first 64-bit smartphone in the world”.

The iPhone 5S took the design of the iPhone 5 and its innovative and extreme thin (7.6 milimeters depth) and lightweight (112 grams) aluminum design and added it the most powerful Apple processor up do date: the A7 chip with 64-bit architecture. The iPhone 5S was the first smartphone in the world with a 64-bit processor, like most of smartphones nowadays use. Besides, this was the first iPhone with fingerprint identity sensor, called Touch ID. This completely new processor allowed the iPhone 5S run the all new iOS 7 operative system. Probably, this software has been the most important evolution of iOS ever. iOS 6 and older versions were very simple, adapted to 32-bit processors.

The most valuable and rare special objects can be graded and authenticated by specialists. This unit of iPhone 5S was graded in May 2024 by the company CAS (Collector Archive Series), from West Palm Beach, Florida, United States. They have certified that this iPhone is authentic, that it is completely new and sealed, and they have given it a grade score of 82.2 (rounded to 80).
