Scorpions – Lovedrive (promo /not for sale)

- is the sixth studio album by the German band Scorpions, released in 1979.
Considered by some critics to be the pinnacle of her career
Lovedrive was a significant evolution of the band's sound and showcased their "classic style" that would later be developed over their next couple of albums.
Lovedrive cemented the "Scorpions formula" of hard rock songs combined with melodic ballads.

It proved to be a major commercial breakthrough, peaking at number 25 on the Billboard Top 200, which hadn't affected any of their previous five albums at all.
The RIAA certified the record Gold on May 28, 1986, and the album also proved to be a breakthrough in the UK, where it became the first Scorpions album to chart, peaking at number 36.

Lovedrive ranked number 25 on IGN's 2007 list of Top 25 Metal Albums
