Very scarce copy, with 25 illustrations, including frontispiece and some of the author’s sketches. Published by John Murray, London, 1903. Publishers’ original dark brown cloth covered boards with gilt design and gilt lettering on front cover, and spine.

Book Dimensions: 23 x 15 x 4 cm and Number of Pages: 399 including index

Condition
A worn copy, with clear defects. External covers are creased and marked, with wear to corners, and edges. Minor rubbing to head and foot of spine. Stamped at top margin of some pages. Foxing and spotting marks to some pages throughout. Some crease and tear to the edges of some pages. Inner hinges are good, and pages are tightly held at the gutter. All illustrations are present (Please see pictures).
