Professional digital single reflex camera (DSLR). Very sturdy build. Never let me down in any situation. All metal body. AF-motor in body so all AF, AF-D, AF-S lenses can be used with AF; also AI, AI-s manual focus lenses can be used, diaphragm is transferred to body through AI-ring around the bayonet.
12.1 Megapixels, max framerate 7/s. Sensor is same as in top model D3 from that time.

It has been used but shutter is less than 25% of its expected lifetime.

Weighs 1.120 g (with strap, battery, card). Battery pack is 290/470 g (without/with batteries)

Bayonet cap included.
8 Gb CF-card included, takes over 300 pics in NEF-format (Nikon RAW) or e.g. 1.400 in JPEG Normal
Battery Nikon EN-EL3e and charger included. Battery says good but no guaranty as it is of some age. Covers for camera and battery pack are present. Battery pack takes 8 AA batteries (not included, Alkaline or NiMH advised); separate slide for extra EN-EL3e battery (not included).

Right thumb rubber on rear somewhat deformed (see photo). This is usual with Nikon camera's of this era. Does not affect operation and it is not loose. Some minor signs of use on body.
