Offering is a very beautiful rare antique full size violin, labeled: Antonius Pelizon Fecit Goritiae 1847.
Because of the age, the violin has some varnish scratches and repaired worm traces on ribs. Very nice two pieces softly flamed maple back and straight high grained spruce top. Golden-amber varnish. Length of back is 362 mm, whole length is 598 mm - full size. The width of the upper bouts: 161 mm; middle bouts: 114 mm; lower bouts: 203 mm. New boxwood set up and new strings. The sound is powerful, sweet, warm, mellow and rich. I have taken high quality pictures so hopefully the details of the violin can be shown.
