Magnificent set of 9 early storage/transport stackable containers made by Schäfer kasten company.

Early ''Schäfer kastenwich'' containers with produer's logo with exact year of production 1956 visible on the most on some of them. (Early Schäfer boxes has date of production on logo stamp).

Very strong and massive steel construction with two movable handles.

What is unusual is, above all, authentic patina of using and ageing, nice combination of colours, painted indication numbers that give to those items truly original historical design.

They would be nice pots for growing herbs.

In order to preserve their authenticity, the containers were left in authentic condition without cleaning. On some containers there is small disorder in shape caused during many years of using.
