This is rare. There are many yosegaki flags, in which messages of support for soldiers going to war are written on the flag. Few of them are combined in one book like this one.
This book contains the words of 30 people. The characteristic of Kanji characters is that they contain many meanings with a small number of letters. All of the words are full of feeling and emotion. Considering the wartime situation, we cannot keep our normal mind without tears.
The person in the photo is the main character, a soldier who went to the battlefield.
The message is his friends and family.
