A rather bizarre vintage, conditioned by abundant rains in autumn and mild temperatures followed by a cold and dry winter. Spring started slightly early with optimal weather conditions. In the summer the heat has been more intense, especially in the month of July in which there has been an exceptional heat by far the most intense of the last 15-20 years. Fortuna wanted that since the second decade of August the climate has changed with the arrival of two disturbances that have brought rain and cooling of the air, especially at night. Even in September there were rains in the first 4 days of the month but without causing damage to the grapes that indeed had the opportunity to mature well on the plant and to be harvested ripe and healthy.
