This Premier Cru red wine from Domaine Jacques Prieur originates from the 0.49 ha vineyard within the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation.
It is made entirely from Pinot Noir grapes, which are first destemmed. This is followed by fermentation lasting 17 days at a controlled temperature in open wooden vats. Ageing takes place in oak barrels and lasts 21 months.
Ruby red in colour with violet hues, it expresses itself on the nose with aromas of violets, ripe red and black fruits and toasted notes. The sip is juicy and delicate, with excellent persistence.
