The edition in introduced by Frederic Raphael and is illustrated by Leonard Rosoman. The book is printed on Hamilton wove paper, with eight illustrations on Mohawk Superfine (the world's finest printing paper, the leading benchmark for premium uncoated paper). It is bound in full cloth printed with a design by the artist-illustrator. The most nostalgic and reflective of Evelyn Waugh’s novels, Brideshead Revisited looks back to the golden age before the Second World War. It explores themes including Catholicism and nostalgia for the age of the English aristocracy. The book has 276 pages. Its dimensions are - without slipcase: height 24 cm, length 16.3 cm, width: 3.1 cm; with slipcase on: height 25 cm, length 17 cm, width: 3.4 cm.
