Conceived in 1972 by British designer Rodney Kinsman, the Omkstak chair reunites techonology and comfort; highy ergonomic yet blunty industrial in its construction and appearance.
An early emblem of high-tech design, transitional between Jean Prouvé and Norman Foster, the Omksak is included in prestigious collections of 20th century furniture, such as the V&A and Design Museum in London or the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Also very successful commercially, it has been in continuous production since its launch, with sales now exceeding one million units.
Pressed steel panels, powder coated in different colours, mounted to a chromed tubular steel frame.
Current production versions of this chair retail over 400€ depending on the country.

Bij uitpakken bleek de kap beschadigd. Er zit een deuk in de rand ; de stang van de lamp zat tegen de kap zonder enige beschermende piepschuim of ander materiaal. Ik heb meteen een bericht gestuurd.
