Original animation cel for the Disney classic 'The Rescuers' (1977), depicting the villain Medusa.
Gouache on animation cel.
To create this cel the original animator's drawing was copied (xeroxed) on a traditional cel, and hand painted on the backside. Certain details, such as the red lips, were inked on the front side of the cel.
Includes the seal of the official Disney cel programm, stating: 'Original hand painted movie film cel'.
The cel is matted and framed under plexiglass.
Frame size: ca. 52,5 x 43,5 cm
Mat opening size: 34 x 24 cm
The cel is slightly wavy, (which unfortunately happens a lot with cels from this era) but otherwise in very good condition. Please look at the photo's to judge it's state.

Tekening goed verpakt. Tip voor de volgende keer....omschrijf dat er meerdere echte vouwen in zitten, Niet alleen 'goed' in omschrijving en een foto waar dit nauwelijks op te zien is.
