A Chinese Double sword, a so called: shuangjian (雙劍) from the 19th century. The nice forged blades have unusual copper inserts into the blade, the cast brass mounted hilts are of classic form with taotie (饕餮) masks and both grips are of carved horn and are incised for more grip. The scabbard made of wood covered in shagreen and finished with bronze mounts. Comes with a custom made display stand.
