Exceedingly difficult to find - an original Heart Shield Bible, from 1943 when these shields were sold. This bible is in nice condition except for some minor rust on the cover from age; the cover has a beautiful patina and most golden finish still; one of the nicer ones we have had for sale! The metal plates were to prevent a bullet from reaching the soldier’s heart (which they did on several occasions. surface of the bible has a great patina and has the text: ''To my loved one'' - which you see far less than the other mottos. A very nice 100% original item for your US WW2 collection; will for sure be a centerpiece in your collection!

Exactly, as mentioned in the description: '' NOTE: in the US section some insignia photo's were cut out (see attached photo's).'', so with photo's added. How could it possible be more clear?
Heel snel geleverd. Object was ook goed verpakt. Object zelf (kompas uit WO II) was precies zoals omschreven. Prachtig stuk.
