Cap for the box is about 150 years old. The little glass box is about 80 years old. They have NOTHING to do with each other And never has. Description and fotos told /showed otherwise. Overpriced

The specific age have never been indicated for both items, only for the carving, also in the announcement it was indicated that the items were “composed” and in no case is it indicated that the objects have a common history. Also, the only way is to take it to the laboratory to examine its age, from this you can have a single and true statement. We cannot rely on the accuracy of the eye alone. Knowing that you are an antiques seller, I hope that you, as a real expert in this matter and with experience, probably know, that the lids were quite rarely preserved. You also maybe know very well that each item with a certain age bears traces of previous use and still this carafe is in “excellent condition for its age”. If you want to buy a new decanter, you may need to visit any Crystal boutique for example Baccarat/Lalique/Saint Louis where you will find the perfect item with it’s perfect price.
