A OBE certificate appointment commission document with OBE medal and correspondence to a Mr. Archibald Whitelaw Boyd, dated 13th June 1957. This particular OBE certificate is signed by HM Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh. Document is original and embossed with the Royal Coat of Arms seal. Condition is original and guaranteed authentic with the original OBE medal included in the auction.
Also included is the book 'The Chapel of the Most Excellent Order of The British Empire' by Frederic Hood.
The document is bright and clean, just a couple of tiny brown spots to the bottom left-hand corner, clear signature of the Queen and Prince Philip and in near fine condition. The document and frame are in fine condition. The frame size is 66 cm x 46 cm.

I don't know what you mean by Scotch. The item was not sent out broken, what covered the glass is tape and that helps it from getting broken. The picture clearly shows the item not broken.
