French School (XIX-XX) - Venezia

This delicate oil on canvas represents boats in Venezia. It is reminiscent of the artworks of French Orientalists at the end of XIXth century and beginning of the XXth century, such as Felix Ziem.

The artwork is signed "Clair" but we didn't identify the painter.

The dimensions with the frame are 64 x 79 cm and without the frame 50 x 65 cm.

The painting is in overall fair condition. It could use a cleaning since the surface if a bit dirty on some parts. There is a slight loss of painting upper right (see picture) but no damage to the canvas. The frame is offered as a gift along the painting.
