Arnulf Rainer (1929) & Rene Rietmeyer (1957) - THE BONDAGE SERIES (Nr.015)

This photo is from the 2011 RAINER Series “Unfinished into Death – The Bondage Series”. The original photo was made by Rene Rietmeyer whereby Arnulf Rainer worked over his photo to “improve” it. From this series 12 works were published by Arnulf Rainer as part of a limited Edition and exhibited at the Venice Biennale 2011, others were published in the Limited Edition Book Arnulf Rainer “Unfinished into Death”.

This photo is nr.15 from the series “Unfinished into Death – The Bondage Series”. In this large size there have been printed only six copies, the edition number is embossed in the paper and in the certificate of Authenticity.

This photo is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Pearl 320 gr/m2, the best paper possible for this type of photography. The paper is 60x70 cm
