These prints are part of a wonderful series of glorious, colorful botanical plates produced in Haarlem for a De Erven Loosjes publication entitled: 'Bulbous and tuberous rooted plants'. The plates were chromolithographed by J. L. Goffart, complete with many plant descriptions.
