Signed JBK (Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy), carefully made by CAMROSE & KROSS, large, 3-dimensional, famous rhodium-plated large jeweled-brooch, with a pave of 211 SWAROVSKI crystals simulating diamonds of various sizes. The center gleams with a domed shape of circles, also done in crystals.
It represents the symbol of the Sun King of France. While shopping in London in 1961, Jackie spotted this stunning sunburst brooch in an antique shop, she instantly fell in love with it.
The brooch comes in a nice gift box along with Camrose Certificate of Authenticity.
A gorgeous piece, its elegance it will never go out of style. It's a real eye-catcher. The photos don't catch the sparkling beauty of this broach! Gorgeous in sunlight and even more impressive in low light.
Jackie wore this brooch constantly on her shoulders of overcoats, on jackets, on dresses, on bags and even in her hair.
It measures 7 cm (2.7”) and has a safety closure and the signature on the back. The weight is 42 g.
