The first edition of Kavalan Artist Series has been created in collaboration with international artist Paul Chiang. Deeply inspired by classical music and the natural beauty of his homeland Taiwan, this limited series showcases Paul’s vibrant and expressive brushstrokes translated into four elements – Ocean, Sunlight, Air, and Mother Earth. Each element plays and essential role in crafting each and every cask at Kavalan Distillery.

Puncheon traversed ocean and three great continents before arriving in Yilan, revealing a liquor as rare as long-hidden deep ocean treasure. Whisky aged in Puncheon have smooth textures that belie an ocean of depth and complexity. Savour a deliciously tantalizing, multilayered flavour that will leave you intrigued and captivated.


2. Kavalan January 2021 - Air - Virgin Oak - Cask N091106021A - 53.2% - 1 of 089:

New American oak barrels from the backbone of this Kavalan Symphony, sweet notes of tropical fruits and honey are interwoven into this breathtaking masterpiece. The subtropical climate breathes balance into the water molecules and alcohol that evaporate into the air; paired with just the right amount of toasting and recharring, a Lanyang Plain masterpiece is born.

Red wine barrels from the finest wineries in France are instrumental to this artistic masterpiece. A rich aroma paired with an understated and full-bodied texture leaves a lasting impression. Soft tannins and warmth add zest to this creation, bringing out the rich complexity of flavours slumbering within; gaze upon the liquid amber in tranquil reflection as it mirrors the last golden rays of sunset.
